Hertha cut ties with loan recall Redan
fter recalling him from his FC Utrecht early, Hertha confirmed a permanent separation with Daishawn Redan on Tuesday.
Daishawn Redan's early loan recall turned out to be in the service of a permanent move to another club. As confirmed by Hertha BSC on Tuesday, the 21-year-old will now move to Venezia F.C. in the Italian second division with immediate effect. Three loan stints in the Erdevisie - with Utrecht, Groningen, and PEC Zwolle - meant the Amsterdam native hadn't appeared for his parent club since the spring of 2021.
"We have found a good solution for all parties with this transfer," new Hertha BSC sporting director Benjamin Weber remarked in a statement, " We wish Daishawn all the best for his future."
Redan was initially purchased for €2.7 million from the Chelsea youth system in the summer of 2019. His present estimated market worth is €1.3 million. No information about a potential transfer fee paid to Hertha was disclosed.
Daishawn #Redan verlässt Hertha BSC endgültig. Wir beenden die Leihe zum @fcutrecht vorzeitig – ab sofort läuft der Stürmer für @VeneziaFC_EN auf.
