Reports: U.S. youngster Caden Clark to train with Rose's squad
After multiple deferrals, Sky Germany and "Sport Bild" both report that United States U20 international Caden Clark will finally get a run out with RB Leipzig in Germany.
"RB System" talent Caden Clark has technically been property of RB Leipzig since the summer of 2021. The German Red Bulls have nevertheless twice deferred on the 19-year-old midfielder, loaning him back to the New York Red Bulls in the winter of 2022 and this past summer. Sky Germany and the country's main sporting tabloid now both report that the Saxons are prepared to let him prove himself in the Bundesrepublik.
"Sport Bild" reports that the offensive-minded midfielder landed in Leipzig on Friday and should be integrated into training with the professionals soon. The Minnesota-native played for both the NY Red Bulls senior team and its reserves in the USL Championship this season. While his production numbers weren't anywhere near as good as the 2021 campaign, he did net two goals and register an assist in combined appearances.
