Nagelsmann: "We didn't expect Paris to be so passive"
Julian Nagelsmann has admitted he was surprised by the "passive" way Paris Saint-Germain started tonight's game against Bayern.
Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann was surprised by how much ball possession his team had in the opening phase of tonight's 1-0 Champions League last-16 win over Paris Saint-Germain.
"We played really well in the first 25 minutes," Nagelsmann said in a post-match interview.
"We were a bit surprised by how much of the ball we had. We didn't expect Paris to be so passive; it was a good first half.
"After the break, we had a great start and then things hung in the balance a little, though the two times they really threatened it was offside."
