Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that Daichi Kamada will leave the club at the end of the season.

Kamada will depart the Bundesliga outfit on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.

“Daichi Kamada has developed into a very good Bundesliga player at Eintracht Frankfurt over the past few years and has played his part in the club’s sporting development – culminating in last season’s Europa League triumph," commented Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche.

"We would have liked Daichi to remain at Eintracht, but that didn’t align with the player’s interests. We thank him for his commitment to Eintracht and wish him all the best for the future."
