Sport Bild Report: Rising Danish striker Højlund also a Bayern target

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund is on FC Bayern München's list of targeted strikers for the coming summer.
In addition to Victor Osimhen, Randal Kolo Muani, and Harry Kane, FC Bayern München are reportedly also interested in potentially acquiring Danish striker Rasmus Højlund as an attacking reinforcement this summer. The 20-year-old Danish international is in the midst of a productive season for his Serie A side and scored both a hat trick and a brace for the Danish national team during the recent international break.

The Copenhagen native's current estimated market worth was upgraded to €35 million in the latest transfermarkt update. Players such as Muani, Osimhen, or Kane could cost the Bavarians up to three times as much. Several Premiership sides are also thought to be interested in the rising talent, but Højlund - having played two seasons in the Austrian Bundesliga - may wish to opt for German football.

German tabloid "Sport Bild", the source responsible for the report, also claims that Bayern are not especially interested in either Niclas Füllkrug or Dusan Vlahovic anymore as a solution to their deficiency at the nine position. Højlund only recently signed with Atalanta and has a contract that runs through 2027.
