Stuttgart updates:
Frankfurt tender €15 million bid for Mavropanos, Faghir to receive second chance

Transfer expert Nicolò Schira claims that Eintracht Frankfurt's first offer to VfB Stuttgart for the services of Greek center-halve Konstantinos Mavropanos hovers around the €15 million figure.

In other transfer-related VfB Stuttgart news, Germany's preeminent footballing publication reports that Danish striker Wahid Faghir is the only one of the club's current six loaned-out players that the Swabians are eager to have back.

Eintracht Frankfurt's pursuit of VfB Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has, according to one source, evolved to a concrete offer of some €15 million. Footballing transfer journalist Nicolò Schira is the one responsible for reporting this figure. Reports emerging from German media sources such as Sport Bild and Sport1 don't corroborate the number at this juncture, but it does conform to the 25-year-old's current estimated market worth.

If true, the opening numbers probably constitute something of a lowball bid. The 17-times-capped international could conceivably fetch the Swabians much more and other clubs may tender offers in the €20-25 million range. Mavropanos' estimated market worth stood as high as €17 million some 18 months ago.

In other Stuttgart news, German footballing journalist George Moissidis has put together a piece for Kicker Magazine detailing the club's plans for its current six loaned-out players. Moissidis - who does have sources in the club's administration - claims that Mo Sankoh, Momo Cissé, Mateo Klimowicz, Roberto Massimo, and Clinton Mola are likely on the way back out again after unsuccessful loan stints.

Danish striker Wahid Faghir, on the other hand, has rediscovered his scoring touch on loan with FC Nordsjælland back in his native country. The 19-year-old has netted four goals in the Danish Super Liga. Despite these production numbers, the Danish club isn't interested in pulling the trigger on the youngster's reported on €4 million purchase option.

Moissidis writes that the Swabian front office stands very pleased with the teenager's prospects and plans to build around him during the summer's training camp, irrespective of whether the club remains in the top flight or not.
