For some time now, Bayern Munich have been searching for a goalkeeper to fill in for Manuel Neuer until the veteran goalkeeper returns from injury.

However, their strategy now seems to have changed, with Bild reporting that the German champions will keep Sven Ulreich in goal until Neuer returns.

Instead of signing an emergency number in goal to fill in for Neuer, Bayern are now looking for a backup for Sven Ulreich, according to the report.

Having watched Ulreich deputise for Neuer in Bayern's last few games, the club bosses have been pleased with his performances and have put their faith in him to do the job until Neuer comes back.
