Report: Bayern identify Feyenoord defender as possible Pavard replacement
TZ reports that Bayern Munich could sign Feyenoord's Lutsharel Geertruida as a replacement for Benjamin Pavard should the Frenchman leave the club.
Benjamin Pavard has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern Munich for a while now, but so far the German champions have been reluctant to let the Frenchman go.
Sky Germany recently reported that Bayern had decided to keep Pavard beyond the summer, but according to other sources, there is still a possibility that the defender will leave the Allianz Arena before the transfer window closes, with Inter keen to sign him.
According to Munich-based newspaper TZ, Bayern could let Pavard go for €35 million and reinvest the fee in his replacement.
One of the players being considered, according to the paper, is Feyenoord's Lutsharel Geertruida, who, like Pavard, can play at right-back and in central defense.
It's claimed that Bayern have been in contact with the player for some time, but no concrete negotiations have taken place yet.
