Eintracht Frankfurt will be able to sign Kevin Trapp permanently from Paris Saint-Germain for €8 million, Sport Bild understands.

The 28-year-old has impressed since he joined Frankfurt on loan last summer, and 'Die Adler' want to keep him.

However, reportedly, there is no offer on the table yet as Frankfurt want to see how the season unfolds.

If 'Die Adler' manage to qualify for an European competition, it would give them extra funds that could help finance the deal.

Additionally, European qualification would make it easier to persuade Trapp to stay from a sporting perspective. The keeper would definitely have to take a huge pay cut, though, as he currently earns about €5 million a year.

If Frankfurt are unable to keep Trapp, sporting director Bruno Hübner has said that Frederik Rønnow could take over as the club's first-choice keeper this summer.

The 26-year-old has been limited to just six appearances since joining from Danish side Brøndby IF last summer.
