Thomas Müller plans to play until at least 2025

Thomas Müller has made it clear that he's not thinking about retiring at the end of the season.
At the age of 34, Thomas Müller is not yet thinking about hanging up his boots.

In an interview with Sport Bild, the Bayern Munich veteran makes it clear that he wants to play until at least 2025.

"I definitely want to play another year after 2024. At least that's my plan. I'm still having fun on the pitch - I hope you can see that," said Müller.

Bayern are reportedly planning to open talks on a new contract with Müller, whose current deal expires in 2024.

It was recently reported that Bayern are optimistic about tying the veteran down to a new deal, even though he'd ideally like to play more.

"It's clear that it annoys me when I'm not on the pitch," Muller openly admitted.

"But we have a surplus of quality players in attack at the moment. Everyone has to swallow that sometimes."
