Bayern confirm signing of Swedish youngster

Highly-rated 16-year-old forward Jonah Kusi-Asare has joined Bayern Munich from AIK.
FC Bayern Munich have announced the signing of 16-year-old striker Jonah Kusi-Asare from Swedish side AIK.

"This is an indescribable feeling," said Kusi-Asare after signing a long-term contract with the German champions.

"I am very happy to be at the biggest club in the world and to have signed here. It's a very special day for me."

FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund commented:

"Jonah Kusi-Asare is a young striker with huge potential. He had several offers, but he chose FC Bayern because we were able to convince him of our plans to develop him.

"He has all the right attributes: he is technically strong, fast, tall, physically very robust even at a young age and has an excellent finish. We are delighted that he will be playing for FC Bayern in the future."

Kusi-Asare will stay at the FC Bayern Campus and initially gain match practice with the U19s.
