His Thursday medical passed, Spanish winger Bryan Zaragoza is now officially a member of FC Bayern München's roster. Virtually all German footballing media outlets initially reporting on the deal confirm transaction-related figures conveyed earlier. The German giants have essentially spent an additional €3 million (€4.5 million with bonuses) on top of the €13 million transfer tendered to Granada CF in December to acquire the 22-year-old next summer.

"You always have to be flexible in football, so we have reacted again due to the current situation," FCB sporting director Christoph Freund remarked in a statement accompanying the signing, "It takes three parties to reach such an agreement, and we are happy that Bryan Zaragoza is joining us earlier than originally agreed. Bryan sees his future at FC Bayern - and that future starts now."
