According to Munich-based newspaper TZ, the Canadian international is eager to make his comeback against Freiburg on Friday.
Davies returned to team training on Sunday and feels ready to return to the starting lineup, according to the report.
Raphael Guerreiro has been playing at left-back, the position Davies usually occupies.
