Report: Wolfsburg lead the race for Red Bull Salzburg coach Marco Rose
Apparently, VfL Wolfsburg are currently in pole position in the race for the signature of Red Bull Salzburg coach Marco Rose who has also been linked with Hoffenheim and Schalke 04.
VfL Wolfsburg are have emerged as favourites to hire Red Bull Salzburg coach Marco Rose in the summer, Bild reports.
Hoffenheim have been eyeing Rose as a successor for RB Leipzig-bound Julian Nagelsmann for a while now while Schalke 04 reportedly see the 42-year-old as a possible replacement for Domenico Tedesco.
However, according to Bild, Wolfsburg are currently leading the race for Rose's signature.
The Red Bull Salzburg coach could join Wolfsburg in the summer with 'Die Wölfe' likely to part company with head coach Bruno Labbadia when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Rose was appointed head coach of Red Bull Salzburg in 2017. His contract runs until 2020.
