Bayer Leverkusen, who thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1 on Sunday, are the Bundesliga's most in-form side at the moment, having won their last four games by a total of 13-2.

Before 'Die Werkself' began their winning streak, they had lost three games on the trot - and those three losses were a wake-up call, says Leverkusen keeper Lukas Hradecky.

"We are very stable. The three defeats did us good. We all had to look in the mirror and think about how not to hang our heads. Without the three defeats, we probably wouldn't have won our recent games," Hradecky said in an interview with Sport Bild.

When asked about Leverkusen's red-hot form, Kevin Volland also said he's pleased with the recent development.

"We are tactically very variable, we move well depending on the situations. Our development in the last few weeks have been good," the striker said.

Bayer Leverkusen face Schalke 04 at home on Saturday.
