A host of sources including Sky Germany and Kicker.de are aware that Amine Adli's departure is becoming “increasingly likely”.

Both reports suggest Bournemouth have stepped up their efforts and are now leading the race for the Bayer Leverkusen man.

A transfer package of €30million is being discussed - a sum the English club can easily afford after a summer of profitable selling.

However, even if an agreement is reached, the deal will certainly not be finalized before Friday's DFB Pokal match against Großaspach.

With head coach Erik ten Hag already light on the personnel front, Adli is likely to be needed on August 15.

Meanwhile, L'Équipe journalist Hanif Ben Berkane believes the 25-year-old has already reached an agreement with the English side.
