Sky Germany understands that a deal for Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich is possible until Deadline Day.

However, negotiations hinge on whether the Bavarians re-enter the race for VfB Stuttgart's Nick Woltemade.

Nkunku is keen to join Bayern, although he has many suitors. There was already a verbal agreement with Bayern set last January.

One element that director of sport Max Eberl loves is Nkunku's versatility - he can play as a No.9, No.10, and on the wing.

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig are still interested in the 27-year-old on a loan basis only, but both Chelsea and Nkunku want a permanent deal.
