It seems Marco Reus accidentally said a little too much about Germany coach Joachim Löw's plans with him at the World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus started on the bench in Germany's 0-1 defeat to Mexico yesterday in which he only featured in the last 30 minutes as he replaced Sami Khedira after about an hour.
After the match, Reus told German media that German coach Joachim Löw had informed him of the decision, and the Dortmund star then accidentally revealed that he had been told he would start on the bench to save his strength for what could be a long tournament.
When asked about why he started on the bench, Reus said:
"Because we assume that the tournament will be very long, and that I in all the important games...," before he interrupted the sentence and continued:
"Of course, the Mexico match was also important."
"I'm obviously disappointed that I didn't play from the beginning. There would be something wrong if I wasn't," Reus added.
Next up for Germany is the match against Sweden on Saturday.
