This afternoon, 13 August, the surprising news emerged that Kevin Trapp could be leaving Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
The 35-year-old is reportedly close to a move to Paris FC, potentially leaving Frankfurt looking for a new goalkeeper.
With Kauã Santos' cruciate ligament injury, Die Adler may have found what they were looking for in the Bundesliga.
According to Kicker.de, Michael Zetterer is on Frankfurt's shortlist. The 30-year-old is under contract with Werder Bremen until 2027 .
The German goalkeeper recently won the Werder Bremen duel for the number one spot against Mio Backhaus.
However, Zetterer is reportedly open to a move away from Bremen, especially with the prospect of Champions League football on the cards.
