"It's a great club and a big step in my career. It was time to take another step forward. I wanted to stay in Germany, because I like this league," the winger told RTBF, according to Fussballtransfers.
"I'm looking forward to playing at this great stadium in front of the fans. I've heard a lot about the Yellow Wall in Dortmund, and I've played there already, of course.
"[Axel] Witsel and I talked about it some time ago. But he didn't really have to convince me. If such a big club come knocking, you want to move," Hazard said.
BVB paid €25 million to sign Hazard who put pen to paper on a deal until 2024.
