Kuntz: 'We haven't achieved anything yet'

Here's what Germany U21 coach Stefan Kuntz said after his team thrashed Serbia 6-1 on Thursday evening.
Germany U21 coach Stefan Kuntz was obviously pleased with his team's performance in Thursday's 6-1 win over Serbia at the European Under-21 Championship.

After beating Denmark 3-1 in their opener, Kuntz's troops have won both their games so far. But although the results have been impressive so far, the German coach says his team 'haven't achieved anything yet'.

"We have taken small steps forward. That was a class performance, but we haven't achieved anything yet. My boys show what the German youngsters are capable of. But it doesn't count until we reach the semi-finals," Kuntz told ARD.

Luca Waldschmidt bagged a hat-trick last night while Marco Richter, Mahmoud Dahoud and Arne Maier scored one goal each in the German win.
