Hummels admits he may have played his last Champions League home game for Dortmund

Mats Hummels has admitted that Wednesday's 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain may have been his last Champions League home game for Borussia Dortmund.

With Mats Hummels' contract set to expire in the summer, it's unclear whether the 35-year-old will sign a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund or leave the club.

Following Dortmund's 1-0 Champions League semifinal win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, the veteran centre-back opened up a bit about his future.

Asked if this was his last Champions League game at Signal Iduna Park, Hummels told DAZN:

"Possibly. Nothing has been decided yet. I've been thinking about what's next for me. It won't be decided until ... phew ... when the last game of the season is over. But maybe even after that.

"Things can go in any direction. I'm just enjoying the fact that I can keep it open. Of course, I'm also looking to see what opportunities there are - including here.

“The Champions League with BVB is secured for next season, that's also a big aspect. I just have to see what the options are and what I want to do.”
