Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says he could imagine extending the cooperation with Lukasz Piszczek by another year.

The 34-year-old recently said that he would be open to extending his contract with BVB which currently runs until 2020.

And Zorc now reacts to Piszczek's comments and says that it's 'quite conceivable' that the right-back will be offered a new deal.

"We know what we have in him. Lukasz is a fantastic player and a fantastic person," the BVB boss told Kicker.

Piszczek made 26 appearances for Dortmund last season with one goal and six assists to his name.
