Amine Harit says he isn't currently focusing on extending his contract, which runs until 2021, although he feels very comfortable at Schalke 04.

"Everyone knows that my contract runs until 2021. At the moment, I'm only concentrating on what's happening on the pitch. I know there's a lot of talk about my future, but I'm really 200 percent focused on Schalke. We'll talk to the new coach and the new head of sport, and then we'll see what happens in the future," Harit told Sky and added:

"At the moment, I feel comfortable at Schalke. There is no reason for me to think about contracts or anything like that. We will see what happens in the coming weeks and months. Right now, we're just talking about football."

After a difficult 2018/19 campaign, Harit has been one of Schalke's stand-out performers this season, racking up three goals and three assists in six games.
