Fantasy Bundesliga tips: Matchday 9

Here are our Fantasy Bundesliga picks for Matchday 9.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Marco Reus, Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 9.

Goalkeepers:
Mark Flekken (SC Freiburg, 1.2M) offers a cheap option in goal as he looks set to replace the injured Alexander Schwolow. Robin Zentner (Mainz, 1.9M) is another low-budget player to consider while Timo Horn (FC Köln, 7.1M), Zack Steffen (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 7.4M) and Frederik Rønnow (Eintracht Frankfurt, 7.7M) are all solid mid-price picks.

Defenders:
Noah Katterbach (FC Köln, 1.1M) remains an interesting option as he is likely to start at right-back once again when FC Köln take on Mainz on Friday evening.Kingsley Ehzibue (FC Köln, 7M) is another interesting option from Köln.

Matthias Zimmermann (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 6.1M) is expected to play in central midfield once again and offers good value at 6.1 million - as does his teammate Niko Gießelmann (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 8.3M) who had a good game against Mainz last week.

Maximilian Mittelstädt (Hertha BSC, 7.2M) racked up 13 points on Matchday 8 and could be a good acquisition for Hertha's home game against Hoffenheim. Meanwhile, the away side's Pavel Kaderabek (Hoffenheim, 11.1M), who plays as a right winger, is a good option as well.

If you're willing to spend a little more, you could bring in William (Wolfsburg, 12.5M) for Wolfsburg's home game against Augsburg.

Midfielders:
With a price tag of just 3.6 million, Laszlo Benes (Gladbach, 3.6M) remains a fine pick.

FC Köln's Florian Kainz (FC Köln, 6.1M) and Kingsley Schindler (FC Köln, 6.8M) could offer good value for money.

Kenan Karaman (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 6.5M), Vladimir Darida (Hertha BSC, 7.6M) and Josip Brekalo (Wolfsburg, 8.7M) look like solid picks in midfield as well.

Strikers:
Simon Terodde (FC Köln, 9.2M) scored on Matchday 8 and will be looking to make a difference once again when Köln face Mainz on Friday.

Rouwen Hennings (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 9.6M) has scored three games in a row and could be worth taking a punt on, with Fortuna facing Paderborn who are yet to win a game this season.

It might be worth looking at Ihlas Bebou (Hoffenheim, 11.9M) who should start against Hertha after he came on to score and make an assist in Hoffenheim's 2-0 win over Schalke 04 on Matchday 8.

Finally, it might be worth spending big to bring in Wout Weghorst (Wolfsburg, 15.1M) for Wolfsburg's clash with Augsburg.
