Favre points out that Sancho has already come a long way despite being just 19 years old.
"He's a world-class player, no question about that. But one shouldn't forget that he's only 19 years old. It's hard to be outstanding in every game," Favre said in an interview with Sport Bild and added:
"He has to live as professionally as we all do, that's true. But at the same time, we don't want to school him too much. He has to feel good, and that's not easy with everything he experiences.
"He knows that I like him and that we all like him, both as a player and as a person. He's a good kid who helps us a lot on a regular basis. I've rarely seen a player who has come so far at such a young age," Favre underlined.
Sancho has been in excellent form lately, racking up six goals and four goals in his last five games in all tournaments.
