Bayern make it six out of six with 3-1 win over Tottenham

Bayern München maintained their perfect record in group B of the Champions League as they beat Tottenham 3-1 at Allianz Arena.
Bayern München continued their 100% winning record in Europe this season with a 3-1 victory over Tottenham in their sixth and final Champions League game in Group B.

The German champions were already certain to finish first in the group before tonight's game and cemented their top spot with a deserved win over a Tottenham side without the likes of Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli who were all rested.

Kingsley Coman sent Bayern ahead with 14 minutes on the block after being set up well by Serge Gnabry who started up top tonight while Robert Lewandowski was given a rare break. Unfortunately for Bayern and Coman, the winger was forced off with a knee injury later in the half.

Ryan Sessegnon pulled one back for Spurs after 20 minutes, scoring a fine goal in his first start for Tottenham.

Thomas Müller made sure Bayern were leading at the break when he fired home from inside the box just before half-time.

And with 64 minutes played, Philippe Coutinho added another one as he curved the ball into the net from the edge of the area.

Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen were beaten 0-2 at home by Juventus. 'Die Werkself' ended up third in Group D which means they will move into the Europa League.
