Report: Hoffenheim close to new centre-back

Hoffenheim are reportedly nearing the signing of 23-year-old centre-back Kasim Nuhu.

The 23-year-old central defender Kasim Nuhu is set to complete a transfer to Hoffenheim from Swiss side Young Boys, Sport Bild understands.

Hoffenheim are ready to pay €8 million plus €2 million in bonuses for the 23-year-old Ghana international.

Nuhu was a regular for Young Boys last season and helped the club to win the Swiss Super League for the first time in 32 years.

The defender initially joined Young Boys on loan from Mallorca and was signed on a permanent deal after the 2016-17 season.
