In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 17.

Goalkeepers:
Markus Schubert (Schalke 04, 1.3M) collected 16 points on Matchday 16 - more than any other goalkeeper - and will continue in goal for Schalke in their next three games while Alexander Nübel is suspended.

Felix Wiedwald (Frankfurt, 1.4M), who deputises for the injured Kevin Trapp and Frederik Rønnow, is another cheap option to consider. Although he conceded four goals against Köln last time around, Wiedwald still racked up six points. It's also worth noting that he plays on Sunday which makes it possible to rotate him in through out the weekend if needed.

Robin Zentner (Mainz, 1.5M) and Mark Flekken (Freiburg, 2M) are other solid budget options while Timo Horn (FC Köln, 6.3M) and Tomas Koubek (Augsburg, 7.3M) are worth considering if you want to invest more in a goalkeeper.

Defenders:
Ismail Jakobs (FC Köln, 1.4M), who scored on Matchday 16, and Noah Katterbach (FC Köln, 1.4M) remain viable low-price options in defence. You could also look at their teammate Sebastiaan Bornauw (FC Köln, 5.9M) who has scored in his last two outings.

Christopher Lenz (Union Berlin, 2.5M) remains another solid low-price option.

Juan Miranda (Schalke 04, 4.9M) should start at left-back for Schalke once more, but if you're looking to bring in a defender from the Gelsenkirchen side, it might be worth investing in Jonjoe Kenny (Schalke 04, 8M) who would be more of a long-term option.

Finally, we've got to mention the in-form Philipp Max (Augsburg, 12.9M) who has scored four goals in his last two games for Augsburg.

Midfielders:
After sitting on the bench on Matchday 16, Laszlo Benes (Gladbach, 3.7M) should be back in the line-up for Gladbach.

Florian Kainz (FC Köln, 6M) is a potential differential as he might come into the Köln line-up following his substitute appearance in midweek.

Alphonso Davies (Bayern München, 6.4M) continues to impress at left-back and is a cheap way into the Bayern team.

Daichi Kamada (Frankfurt, 7.1M) has scored plenty of goals in the Europa League, but is yet to find the net in the Bundesliga. It only seems to be a matter of time before the Japanese midfielder will score in the league, though, and with a price tag of just 7.1 million, it could be worth taking a punt on him.

Amine Harit (Schalke 04, 9.4M) has been one of Schalke's stand-out performers this season and remains an attractive option.

Levin Öztunali (Mainz, 10.6M) has been in great form since Achim Beierlorzer was appointed Mainz coach and could be a nice differential even though his price tag is a little high.

It's also worth mentioning Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig, 11.5M) who should be back in the line-up for RB Leipzig when they take on Augsburg.

Strikers:
Patrik Schick (RB Leipzig, 9.9M) has been in great form lately, scoring three goals in his last four appearances, and should return to the starting eleven against Augsburg.

Jhon Cordoba (FC Köln, 10.3M) leads the line for an in-form Köln team and has racked up 26 points in his last two games.

Augsburg have a tough match-up this weekend, facing RB Leipzig away from home, but with the form Florian Niederlechner (Augsburg, 10.7M) is currently in, it seems he could hurt any team.

Finally, Robin Quaison (Mainz, 11.2M) will be looking to continue his good form after bagging a hat-trick against Werder last time around.
