Report: Hertha target Granit Xhaka

Hertha BSC are understood to be interested in Arsenal's Granit Xhaka.
Hertha BSC have made Arsenal's Granit Xhaka their top target ahead of the January transfer window, according to Sky.

The 27-year-old might be looking to leave Emirates Stadium where he has fallen out of favor after a conflict with the club's fans that saw him stripped of captaincy.

Club investor Lars Windhorst has reportedly made more than €40 million available for transfers in the winter transfer window, and Hertha coach Jürgen Klinsmann recently said that he expects more 'Champions League players' to arrive at the club in the future.

However, despite their ambition to bring in big names, Hertha are adamant not to abandon the current salary structure at the club, as per Sky.

Hertha have also been linked with Tottenham's Victor Wanyama as well as Julian Weigl and Mario Götze from Borussia Dortmund.
