Official: Diego Demme leaves RB Leipzig
Diego Demme has completed his move to Napoli.
Diego Demme has left RB Leipzig to join Napoli, the two clubs have announced.
Napoli have paid a reported fee of €12 million to sign Demme who has played for RB Leipzig since January 2014.
"I'm proud to have played a part in RB Leipzig's journey. Leipzig will always be a part of me. I am so thankful to the club and all the people here, and will come back again and again," Demme said, as quoted by the club.
"These six challenging and successful years have allowed me to fulfil my childhood dream, my lifelong goal. I am happy about the great times behind me and the incredible things to come," he added.
Demme made 214 appearances for RB Leipzig with two goals and 18 assists to his name.
