Fantasy Bundesliga tips: Matchday 19

Here are our Fantasy Bundesliga tips for Matchday 19.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 19.

Goalkeepers:
Robin Zentner (Mainz, 1.1M) and Markus Schubert (Schalke 04, 1.5M) are a cheap pair of goalkeepers, and the fact that they are aren't playing at the same time this weekend gives you an advantage. However, time will tell if Schubert will keep his place in goal when Alex Nübel returns from suspension for Matchday 20.

Defenders:
You might not want to bring in Ismail Jakobs (FC Köln, 1.7M) for an away game against Borussia Dortmund, but keep in mind that the 20-year-old is playing as a winger for an in-form team against an opponent who let in three goals last week.

Christopher Lenz (Union Berlin, 2.3M) costs just about the same and is a solid long-term option in defence, having picked up 113 points so far.

Timothy Chandler (Frankfurt, 5M) scored on Matchday 18 and is set to play as a winger once more as Frankfurt face tough competition from RB Leipzig.

If you prefer to pick a Leipzig defender instead, you could look at Nordi Mukiele (RB Leipzig, 9.2M) who had a good game against Union Berlin last week that saw him rack up 15 points.

Jonathan Schmid (Freiburg, 10M) and Christian Günter (Freiburg, 12.9M) have both picked up plenty of points this season, and Freiburg's upcoming fixtures certainly don't make them less attractive.

Philipp Max (Augsburg, 12.9M) is another solid pick at the same price as Günter. You could also spend a million more to bring in Achraf Hakimi (Dortmund, 13.9M).

Midfielders:
Robert Andrich (Union Berlin, 5.1M) may not have scored yet this season, but is involved a lot offensively, so it's probably only a matter of time before the low-price midfielder will hit the back of the net.

Eduard Löwen (Augsburg, 7M) is set to make his first start for Augsburg in the offensive midfield position and could be a good differential with a price tag of 7 million. You could also look at his teammate Ruben Vargas (Augsburg, 8.1M) who did very well against Dortmund last week.

Wolfsburg have a couple of interesting options in Renato Steffen (Wolfsburg, 7.4M), who should start after scoring last week, and Xaver Schlager (Wolfsburg, 9.9M), who picked up 12 points last week after a good display against FC Köln.

Changhoon Kwon (Freiburg, 7.6M) scored on Matchday 18 and will look to continue his good form against Paderborn at home.

Michael Gregoritsch (Schalke 04, 10.1M) had a great debut last week as he scored and made an assist against Gladbach, and although you may not want to bring him in for an away game against Bayern München, he's certainly a player to keep an eye on.

Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic (Bayern München, 13.6M) impressed for Bayern last time around and looks like an attractive short-term investment as he's expected to start once more.

Strikers:
Josh Sargent (Werder Bremen, 4M) is the only real low-price striker worth considering with a price tag of just 4 million.

Lucas Höler (Freiburg, 7.9M) is a solid, fairly cheap option as well, but you might want to bring in his teammate Nils Petersen (Freiburg, 13.1M) instead if you can afford him.

Mark Uth (FC Köln, 9.4M) and Jhon Cordoba (FC Köln, 11M) have a difficult match-up against Dortmund coming up, but are two in-form strikers you should keep an eye on in the weeks to come.

Florian Niederlechner (Augsburg, 11.1M) netted twice against Dortmund last week and will look to continue his good form against Union Berlin.

Finally, of course, Erling Haaland (Dortmund, 13M) could potentially start against FC Köln after his magnificent hat-trick against Augsburg last week.

Kevin Volland (Leverkusen, 17.4M) might be expensive, but could be a nice differential at home against Fortuna Düsseldorf, with many Fantasy managers focusing on the likes of Erling Haaland, Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski instead.
