When Leon Goretzka scored in Bayern München's 5-0 win against Schalke 04, he had no problem with celebrating his goal even though he played against his former club.

Speaking in an interview with Kicker, the 24-year-old said he was simply delighted after scoring and made it clear that he doesn't believe celebrating a goal should be seen as a lack of respect.

"I'm not a fan of holding back from celebrating. I always find it a bit hypocritical," Goretzka told Kicker.

Goretzka joined Bayern from Schalke in 2018.
