Borussia Dortmund need to sell wantaway striker Paco Alcacer to finance the signing of Emre Can from Juventus, according to Kicker.

Selling the Spanish striker would bring in a sizeable transfer fee and free up space in the wage budget. This would make it possible for Dortmund to pay more than €20 million for Can and meet the midfielder's wage demands of around €10 million.

Alcacer is keen on a return to Spain and has agreed personal terms with Valencia, according to Cadena Ser.

However, in order to land Alcacer, Valencia must first free up funds by selling Rodrigo to FC Barcelona. The striker is set step in for Luis Suarez at Camp Nou after the former Liverpool star has suffered a long-term knee injury.
