Bayer Leverkusen's Kevin Volland says he would like to represent Germany at the Olympics later this year.

While the 27-year-old isn't under consideration for Joachim Löw's Euro 2020 squad, he could be an option for the Olympics.

"I can really imagine that. It would certainly be a good experience," Volland said in an interview with Sport1.

"I think that the plans will become more concrete in two months. But in order to go there, I need to deliver good performances. Right now, I think I'm on a pretty good path," he added.

Volland has made 30 appearances this season, racking up 11 goals and eight assists.
