Before last season, André Hahn left Borussia Mönchengladbach to join Hamburger SV - the team he supported as a kid.

However, things didn't go as Hahn planned at HSV, who were relegated, and he is now back at his former club FC Augsburg.

Hahn now says he thought the cohesion within the team at HSV was missing and that he would never sign for the club again.

"I would definitely not go back to Hamburg, not even if they played in the Champions League and offered me all they wanted," Hahn told Kicker and added:

"Money is not everything. Family, health and fun are much more important. I could have earned well in Hamburg for three more years, but I would rather be happy than sit out a contract. And to be honest, the salary isn't bad in Augsburg either."

Hahn, 27, made 24 appearances for HSV and scored three goals.
