Official: DFL suspends the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga

This weekend's games in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga have been postponed.

The German Football League (DFL) has suspended the 26th Matchday of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, it has been announced.

The DFL stated earlier on Friday that this weekend's games were expected to go on as planned, but the decision has been changed following current developments related to the coronavirus outbreak.

Additionally, as previously announced, the DFL will propose suspension of Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga games until at least April 2.

Football has also been suspended in a number of other countries, including Italy, Spain and England.
