Report: Bayern and Manuel Neuer still far apart in contract talks
It doesn't seem like Manuel Neuer and Bayern München will agree on a new deal anytime soon.

The parties have been in negotiations over an extension of Neuer's contract beyond 2021 for a while, but their talks have recently stalled.
Bayern would like the 34-year-old to sign an extension until 2023, but he is understood to be holding out for a new deal until 2025.
Additionally, it has been reported that Neuer is demanding an annual salary of €20 million, which is far above Bayern's initial offer.
Neuer is unhappy that his demands were leaked to the press, as per Kicker, who claims that the trust between the player and the club has been 'strongly shaken'.
According to Kicker, a compromise is not in sight, and the willingness to hold further talks is currently rather low. It could take weeks or even months before a final decision is made about the goalkeeper's future.
If Neuer doesn't sign a new deal with Bayern, he could potentially be headed for a move to Chelsea, who are said to be interested in the 34-year-old.
Additionally, Kicker speculates that Neuer could be of interest to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola. The former Bayern coach is known as a huge admirer of Neuer, and Kicker claims that they have been in regular contact since the 49-year-old left Munich in 2016.
