Karim Bellarabi's agent says his client is thinking about whether he wants to sign a contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen or go somewhere else when his contract expires in 2021.

According to Bild and Kicker, the 30-year-old has attracted interest from the English Premier League.

"Karim can imagine extending his contract with Leverkusen beyond 2021. He feels very comfortable at the club. But it's just as conceivable that he will fulfill his contract and seek a new challenge in a year's time," Bellarabi's agent, Konstantin Liolis, told Bild.

Leverkusen boss Rudi Völler emphasizes that he would like to keep the winger at the club.

"We have held initial talks. We are satisfied with Karim's development, and we are looking for a good solution," Völler said.

Bellarabi joined Leverkusen from Eintracht Braunschweig in 2011.
