Sven Ulreich open to leaving Bayern if the right opportunity comes up

Sven Ulreich admits he is considering his future at Bayern München.
Sven Ulreich says he will consider leaving Bayern München if another club want to offer him regular playing time.

Ulreich has been behind Manuel Neuer in the pecking order since he arrived from Stuttgart in 2015. Should he stay at Bayern, Alex Nübel's summer arrival from Schalke 04 could make the road to playing time even more difficult for the 31-year-old.

According to Bild, Bayern will be prepared to let Ulreich go if he wants to look for playing time elsewhere.

"I'll see what happens in the next few weeks. I've said that if something comes up, where I can play, I'd like to do it. Otherwise I'll give all I've got here in the last year of my contract," Ulreich, whose contract expires in 2021, said in an interview with Bild.

Bild claims that Hertha BSC are interested in the former Stuttgart goalkeeper, but are yet to show any concrete interest in him at this point.
