Leon Goretzka has spoken highly of Leroy Sané amid speculation linking the Manchester City winger with a summer move to Bayern München.
The Bayern midfielder, who has known Sané since fifth grade, told Die Welt:
"He's a guy you want beside you in important games. He doesn't know fear in such situations, but is able to perform. In Leroy's head, the most important thing is that he wants to play football successfully and win titles.
"We get along very well. Our friendship didn't come about through football alone, I've known Leroy since the fifth grade. I consider Leroy to be a top character. But it is true that he is also a very special character."
