Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre has confirmed that Erling Haaland picked up a knee injury in Tuesday's 0-1 loss to Bayern München.

Haaland was replaced by Giovanni Reyna in the second half, limping off the pitch after 72 minutes.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Favre confirmed the injury, but also said that he expects the striker to be fit again soon.

"I don't think he'll be out for long. He sustained a knee injury. We don't yet know exactly what it is," Favre said, as cited by BVB.de.

Haaland, 19, has scored 13 goals in 14 games for Dortmund in all competitions this season.
