Thiago Alcantara has returned to team training ahead of Bayern München's Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

After missing Bayern's last three games due to a muscle injury, the 29-year-old was able to join his teammates in training on Tuesday.

Lucas Hernandez, who was taken off at the break in Saturday's 5-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf because of an adductor problem, trained individually while long-term absentees Niklas Süle and Philippe Coutinho continued their rehabilitation.

With five games left to play this season, Bayern sit seven points clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table.
