Bayern München booked a spot in the DFB-Pokal final with a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-final at Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

Serge Gnabry sat out with back pain and was replaced by Ivan Perisic, who got the opener for the home side after 14 minutes, powering a header into the back of the net in an unmarked position after a great pass from Thomas Müller.

Frankfurt leveled the score with 69 minutes on the clock, when second-half substitute Danny da Costa smashed the ball past Manuel Neuer after he was found by Daichi Kamada.

But Bayern regained the lead just five minutes later. Alhonso Davies received the ball on the right-hand side of the area and squared it across to Joshua Kimmich. He passed it on to Robert Lewandowski, who slotted the ball into the net to make it 2-1.

In the final, defending champions Bayern will lock horns with Bayer Leverkusen, who beat fourth division side Saarbrücken 3-0 in the other semi-final on Tuesday.
