Ludwig Augustinsson says he has no interest in leaving Werder Bremen ahead of the 2020/21 season.

"I never though about leaving Werder at all," the Swedish full-back told the Weser-Kurier.

"I want to do better with the team than I did last season," he added.

Augustinsson's teammates Davy Klaassen and Maximilian Eggestein have previously pledged loyalty to the Green-Whites this summer.

The 26-year-old made the move to Germany from Danish outfit FC Copenhagen in 2017. He has since gone on to make 87 appearances for Werder with three goals and nine assists to his name.
