Hertha BSC have announced that Vladimir Darida has put pen to paper on a contract extension with the club.

"'Vladi has been an integral and important part of our team for years, so we are glad that we are continuing our common path. With his playing ability and great will, he will continue to shape our game," said Hertha boss Michael Preetz.

The German capital club haven't revealed the length of the Czech international's new contract.

Darida, 30, joined Hertha from Freiburg in 2015 and has since gone on to score 13 goals and make 19 assists in 133 games for the club.
