Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke is confident the club will be able to hold on to two of their most promising young players for years to come.

Being just 17 years old, Giovanni Reyna and Jude Bellingham are both an integral part of the first-team squad at Signal Iduna Park, and Watzke expects them to remain at the club for a long time.

"We have many young players, who have a lot of potential. We are currently forming an axis," Watzke told ZDF.

"Bellingham and Reyna will certainly stay here for a long time," he added.

Bellingham joined Dortmund from Birmingham ahead of this season, signing a contract until 2023.

Reyna's deal expires at the end of the season, but will be extended as soon as he turns 18 in November.
