Sebastian Kehl on Dortmund's loss to Lazio: 'It's difficult to be happy with anything tonight'
Sebastian Kehl was far from happy after Borussia Dortmund suffered a 3-1 defeat against Lazio in their Champions League opener.
Borussia Dortmund head of licensed players Sebastian Kehl didn't mince his words after Tuesday's 3-1 loss against Lazio in the Champions League.
"It’s difficult to be happy with anything tonight. We didn’t win enough challenges, our aggression levels were off and we were far too standoffish. We have to present ourselves differently," Kehl said after the game, according to UEFA.com.
"Everything we did wrong today needs to be corrected and there was a lot that went wrong. If we don’t turn things around we can’t expect to go far in this competition," he added.
Elsewhere, fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig beat Turkish outfit Basaksehir 2-0 in their opening fixture of the Champions League.
