Agent admits Dominik Szoboszlai is edging closer to Salzburg exit amid RB Leipzig interest
Dominik Szoboszlai, who has been linked with RB Leipzig, is set to leave RB Salzburg in the near future, admits his agent.
Dominik Szoboszlai's agent, Esterhazy Matyas, has admitted that his client is edging closer to a move away from RB Salzburg amid interest from a number of clubs, including RB Leipzig.
"We're seeing that every time he has a good game, which fortunately is happening quite often, the rumours are getting stronger. However, our strategy isn't going to change because of one or two games. We have belief in our own plans and the vision we had originally is only getting stronger because all of the comments we are reading only prove that we are on the right path," Matyas told DIGI Sport.
"Whether it's in January or next summer, the most important thing is that he goes to a club where he will have a good chance of playing regularly and continuing the learning curve he started in Salzburg - that's the most important thing for us. Obviously, it's no secret that Dominik is closer now to leaving the Austrian league," he added.
Szoboszlai, 20, is under contract with RB Salzburg until 2022.
