Leverkusen boss plays down reports of January departure for Aleksandar Dragovic

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has played down speculation that Aleksandar Dragovic will leave the club for Red Star Belgrade in January.
Serbian media outlet Sportski Zurnal recently claimed that Bayer Leverkusen's Aleksandar Dragovic has agreed to join Red Star Belgrade in January.

However, when asked about Dragovic's future, Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told Kicker that he expects the Austrian international to stay for the rest of the season at least.

"In the winter, we will only let someone go if the squad situation allows it. For the time being, 'Drago' is part of our plans for the whole season," Rolfes said.

Dragovic, 29, has played seven games for Leverkusen this season.
